14 Days in Nairobi  - Samburu – Sweet Waters – Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara – Amboseli – Ngorongo – Serengeti – Manyara – Arusha.

Day 1 – Nairobi

Met upon arrival with our "traditional Karibu "and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay with(optional tours around the city of Nairobi and its environment like a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Manor at an extra cost).

Day 2 – Samburu

After a hearty breakfast drive further north crossing the Equator to the semi-desert Northern Frontier where Samburu Springs and Shaba Reserves are located to arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy a thrilling afternoon game drive in Shaba game Reserve. Unique to this area are reticulated giraffe, Grevy's Zebra Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the Somali ostrich. There are also lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, leopards, other big game and 100 species of birds. Overnight stay.

Day 3  Samburu – Sweet Waters

Early morning breakfast and game drive in Samburu National park en-route to the Sweet waters arriving in time for lunch. Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area.  Afternoon game drive across the Park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Sweet Waters – Lake Nakuru

Morning breakfast  and drive to Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Later afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast drive down into the Great Rift Valley on our way to Kenya's premier wildlife park-the Masai Mara. This is the northern section of the Serengeti Plain, which is the home to the greatest concentration of game animals in the world. We continue to explore this afternoon game drives. This is one of the most spectacular sights in the world.

Day 6 Maasai Mara

Masai Mara the vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These includes over 1.4 million wildebeest which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern part of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. On our morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara we have a very good chance of seeing all the major plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope. (Optional excursions available: hot air balloon or visit a Masai tribal village at a fee).

Day 7 Masai Mara – Amboseli

After an early morning breakfast drive to Nairobi en-route to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in Nairobi on time for lunch and proceed to the Park. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains and the huge herds of elephants which take on a red colour from the dust they coat themselves in. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 Nairobi – Arusha

After an early breakfast depart for Arusha, game –viewing enroute. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 Arusha – Ngorongoro

Breakfast is followed by an exciting descent to the crater floor for a full day's game –viewing drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight rest.  

Day 11 Ngorongoro – Serengeti

After breakfast depart for Serengeti with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge-cradle of mankind –and with packed lunch. Afternoon game-viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 – Serengeti

Breakfast is followed by a full morning's game –viewing drive. After lunch proceed on another game-viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13 Serengeti – Manyara

After breakfast depart for Manyara to arrive for lunch. Afternoon proceed on a game-viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14 Manyara – Arusha

 After breakfast depart for Arusha and continue to Nairobi with a picnic lunch enroute. Transfer to the airport afterwards to catch your outbound flight.
